Household Hazardous Products One Day Drop-off Event

Registration for our one day drop-off event is now closed.  If you are looking for other locations where you can properly dispose of your household hazardous products, please search our recycling and reuse directory. If you would like to be informed of future household hazardous product drop-off events, please join our mailing list.

For those registered and attending, below is a list of acceptable and unacceptable material:

  • Accepted materials: batteries, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, solvents, thinners, stains, oil-based paint, lead paint, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, gasoline, motor oil, kerosene, gasoline/oil mix, brake fluid, anti-freeze, driveway sealer, roof tar, fluorescent lights, cleaners, pool chemicals, mercury, thermostats, and thermometers. 
  • Unaccepted materials: latex paint, radioactive materials, smoke detectors, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, flares, controlled substances, yard trimmings, tires, unknown materials/liquids, and garbage.

Please be aware that latex paints are on the list of Unaccepted materials and will not be collected at this event. Latex paints are not hazardous and can be safely disposed of with your trash. Click here to learn how to properly prepare your latex paints for disposal
