Ohio EPA’s Recycling Market Development Grant program offers Ohio businesses
and manufacturers the opportunity to purchase equipment for the collection and
processing of recyclables or organic material.
Program Information: The grant program seeks proposals involving target materials collected or processed in Ohio. This grant typically focuses on the purchase of equipment. Private sector businesses must commit to matching funds equal to the grant request, with a maximum grant period of 24 months. Up to $200,000 is available per project. Business applicants must work under contract with an eligible governmental agency serving as a “pass-through agency” for documenting and receiving funds (e.g., solid waste management district, city, or public university).
