The recycling industry is constantly evolving. That's a good thing! Industry leaders are looking for new, creative ways to improve the recycling process, to accept new materials, and to produce new feed materials for other industries.
How can you play a role? First and foremost, be an informed recycler. Our website and social media channels keep you updated on new materials that can be recycled, mostly recently, yogurt containers and plastic cups.
Second, take your home recycling efforts to the next level: recycle materials from other room in the house, not just the kitchen. Don't forget the bathroom (empty toilet paper rolls, shampoo/hair product bottles) and living room (newspapers, magazines, junk mail).
And finally, take your great recycling habits to the office or school. We're here to help support those efforts! For the office, contact Mary Cropenbaker or Christin Badinghaus; for your local schools, reach out to Cher Mohring.
Thank you for recycling! It's good for the environment, the community, and the economy!
